The TSSPRO sealer series is designed for use by professional installers and DIYers who expect professional products with high performance. TSS360 is a color-enhancing, film forming and joint stabilizing sealer that provides a satin/low sheen to high-gloss finish on natural stone, concrete, concrete pavers and decorative concrete surfaces. TSS360 was formulated to provide ease of application, color enhancement and maximum protection from the common stains of vehicle oil and many tree, leaf, nut and other organic materials encountered outdoors while preventing water penetration and saltwater erosion.

PREPARATION: Protect people, passersby, home/building occupants, vehicles, plants, painted surfaces, anodized aluminum, wood and all non-masonry surfaces from product, residue, splash, fumes and wind drift. Use polyethylene or other proven protective coverings. Surface to be treated must be clean and dry. Remove dirt oil, grease, paint waxes, efflorescence and any surface sealers. If exterior application, after rain or power wash be sure no water, drops, puddles, etc., is on the surface. Surface can be damp appearing, I.E. touch with paper towel and no water appears. Ensure fresh air entry and cross ventilation during application and drying. Do not dilute or alter. ALWAYS TEST a small area of each surface to confirm suitability possible color change I.E. desired results before starting overall application. Test with the same equipment, recommended surface preparation and application procedures.

INSTALLATION SURFACE AND AIR TEMPERATURES:

• For maximum effectiveness surface and air temperatures should be 55-90 0F (12.8-32.20C). Dry time will be slower at lower  temperatures.
  Ambient air temperatures ideally should be 55 – 90° F(12.8-32.20°C); Temperatures above 900F are marginal, that is the carrier may evaporate too fast not allowing the active polymer to chemically react with the substrate.
• Where ambient temperatures typically reach above 900F in the afternoon, application should be scheduled for the morning when it will be cooler. Handheld surface temperature reading devices are inexpensive and eliminate guess work.
• Air temperature below 550F will cause the product to cure slower increasing the probability of less than adequate bonding.
• If surface temperature will drop below freezing within 48 hours do not apply.
• Do not let product freeze – freezing will render product ineffective.

EQUIPMENT:

Use low-pressure pump-up sprayer, brush or roller (3/8 – 3⁄4” nap).

APPLICATION:

• Always wear protective gloves. Avoid getting on skin – product is an irritant. Do not get in your eyes. Always wear protective eyewear. Remove contaminated or saturated clothing immediately. Before applying read all sections above and below; do not dilute or alter; ALWAYS TEST a small area of each surface to confirm suitability and desired results before starting overall application. Test with the same equipment that will be used in application.
• Cover areas not intended to be treated.
• Although can be applied on a damp surface, TSS360 has the best results when applied on a dry surface.
• Apply with low-pressure pump-up sprayer, brush or roller. If using an airless sprayer, dispense only using less than 50 psi; do not exceed 50 psi.
• Generally, apply two coats of sealer. Liberally apply an even saturation coat of TSS360. Once the first coat has dried, apply a second coat.
• New concrete should be allowed 30-90 days to properly cure before applying.
• Concrete pavers vary in density and absorption. Pavers made with fly ash are very absorbent and may require additional coats to achieve higher gloss and enhanced color.
• Do not apply on dense polished surfaces.
• Do Not allow product to puddle and/or dry on the surface; wipe/blow off excess product before it dries.
• TSS360 will make the maintenance and cleaning of a treated surface much easier and prevent many stains.
• Once cured, this product is food contact safe. Protect from rain and sprinklers for two hours after application if outside.
• Use water to clean equipment.

Applying TSS360 on vertical surfaces

Vertical surfaces have much less dwell – absorption time than horizontal surfaces as a liquid sealer will heed the pull of gravity and run down the wall. Longer dwell time is required for the product to penetrate sufficiently. Place tarp or plastic sheets below to catch the excess drips. Apply from bottom and work way up making sure drip marks do not occur.

MAINTENANCE:

Cleaning a stain soon after it occurs will greatly lessen the effect of a stain. If some stains are left for long periods before being cleaned, they may leave a stain, however the stain will be greatly minimized. Do not clean treated surfaces with highly alkaline, acidic, ammoniated or abrasive cleaners which may degrade the sealer, adversely affecting stain resistance. For routine cleaning use a neutral cleaner/soap. For tough or difficult to remove soil use a nylon scrubbing pad with a neutral cleaner. Avoid Dawn brand soaps which contain disruptive agents.

TRAFFIC:

A full cure is achieved after 24 hours. Foot traffic may begin in two hours. Note: Dry time is dependent on temperature and humidity. Cooler weather or high humidity may affect dry time and availability for use.

DILUTION:

Apply as packaged. Do not dilute or alter or use for applications other than as specified.

COVERAGE RATE:

Coverage varies based on porosity of the surface. Substrates range (porous to semi-dense) 200 – 350 sq. ft. / gal.

• Expected Wear:

LIMITATIONS

• Limited shelf life – remains storage stable for approximately 12 months in sealed containers.
• May show imperfections on some surfaces. Always test a small area prior to application.
• Will not prevent water penetration through material defects or larger structural cracks/fissures in the material.
• Will not stop salt-water erosion if the erosion has already started
• Do not allow product to freeze.

CAUTION! HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. EYE, SKIN AND RESPIRATORY IRRITANT.
If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. In case of: Eye contact – flush with large amounts of room temperature water for 15 minutes. Skin contact- wash thoroughly with soap and water. Irregular or stopped breathing-administer oxygen, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention (immediately). Do not breathe vapors or spray mist.
